Rules for Safe Camping

   
CHECK IN   is after 1.00 p.m. until 10.00 p.m.
 
CHECK OUT   is at 12.00 p.m.  This means packed up and off the site. If you wish to  stay later, check with office, and there is a fee of $10.00 per adult for a day pass good until 9.30 p.m.
 
REFUNDS Are only given when you check out early before 12 p.m for any of the days remaining of your reservations. Example: (You check in on Fri at 4 p.m. and scheduled to check out Sun. at 12 p.m., but decide to check out on Sat by 12 p.m. you will receive a refund. After 12 p.m. no refund will be given.)
 
CAMPING DAY A camping day is a 23 hour time period starting from 1.00 p.m. to 12.00 p.m.
Example:  (Fri 1 p.m. to Sat 12 p.m. is 1 camping day).  (Fri 1 p.m. to Sun 12 p.m. is 2 camping days).  Early arrivals and late departures are subject to pay day pass fees.
 
WOOD No outside firewood is permitted, no exceptions.  If you bring wood, you will be asked to take it off the property.  No removal of wood, dead or alive.  You will be charged $100.00 and up, and evicted for non compliance.  We sell firewood during store hours.  (Remember to watch store hours so you are not left without wood or ice for the morning or evenings).  No Bonfires. Do not move fire pits, do not put cans, bottles or food in fire pits, a clean up fee will be charged.  Fire must be put out when retiring.  Do not pound nails into trees and take down all ropes. There will be a charge if left for us to take down. 
 
GARBAGE All garbage must be recycled. Please bring your garbage to the designated area on Coyote Road.  If leave your garbage out over night, you will attract animals and have a mess to clean in the morning.  “Recycling is mandatory”, if left for us to do, extra charges will be applied.
 
PARK SPEED When entering the park, switch to slow driving.  10 km/hr in all areas of the park.  Speeders will have to park in the parking lot and walk to their sites for the rest of their stay.  Remember you are on vacation so relax and enjoy your stay. Please remember to watch for children.
 
GATE Will be closed at 10 p.m. You can get out but need a pass card to get back in.  PASS CARD IS FOR YOUR USE ONLY. Sharing of card will lead to an evictionPlease obtain a pass card from the office. Pass cards require a $20 deposit, which is refunded upon return of card. If you return to the park after 10 p.m. and do not have a pass card, park your car in the parking lot and walk to your site.
 
VISITORS Open to visitors from 10.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.  Adults $5.00,  Children $3.00.  All visitors must register at office and get a car tag.  Overnight visitors, regular camping rates.  All visitors must park in parking area.  Registered campers are responsible for the actions and behaviour of their guests. 
 
STORE HOURS Mon to Thur. 1.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.  Fri & Sat 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Sun 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Holiday weekends will be posted. (Check our store hours, don’t leave yourself short on wood or ice)
 
QUIET TIME Quiet time starts at 11.00 p.m. to 8 a.m. Please remember to turn your music way down at 11.00 p.m. (No base).  All music must be off by 1.00 a.m., no music before 8.00 a.m.  This includes musical instruments and car radios including when driving.
 
LIQUOR, NOISE, BANNED ITEMS Cans or plastic only, no glass bottles.  Do not drink and drive.   Licensees are required to abide by the local noise by-law and must respect the rights of others. Firearms, air guns, slingshots, fireworks, chainsaws, plastic guns, and glass beer bottles are not permitted. Hatches are to be used to cut purchased wood only.  Anybody who cuts trees, break off branches in the bush or on their site will be evicted.
 
PETS Friendly pets are welcome but must be kept under control and on a leash on and off site.   Pets must not be left unattended at any time.  You must clean up after your pet. 
 
POOL Our swimming pool hours are posted at the pool. Observe pool rules and supervise children 12 years and under.
NO GLASS BOTTLES, NON POOL TOYS, AIR MATTRESSES OR FOOD ALLOWED IN POOL AREAS.

Safety equipment is not to be played with.  Only bathing suits, no cut offs or street clothing. Health concerns. Children playing in bathing suits before entering the pool must shower to remove any sand or dirt or change into a clean bathing suit before entering pool. CHILDREN UNDER 3YRS OF AGE MUST WEAR SWIM DIAPERS.

**These rules are the health department’s rules. They can and will close the pool if not adhered to. **
 
CAR PARKING You are permitted 2 cars per site. Extra vehicles must park in parking lot and a fee will be charged.
 
CHILDREN
MUST BE SUPERVISED
Children under 18 years are not allowed to roam the park after dark.  Parents must supervise children in the pool,   washroom and playground.  Make your children aware of the rules.  No life guard on duty, you are responsible    for your own safety. Parents will be held responsible for the actions of their children.
 

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO:
Refuse admittance to undesirable persons and will ask such person to leave the campground if necessary. Evict anyone for noncompliance of rules without refund.
Will have access to any site at all times for the purpose of service and utilities maintenance.
Oro Family Campground including employees do not accept responsibility for personal injury or loss whatsoever, incurred by campers or their visitors at this establishment.
